Désobéissance Remixes est un petit projet personnel, réalisé pour le fun et visant à m’essayer à l’art de la pochette d’album. Et c’est sur celui de Mylène Farmer, artiste dont l’univers graphique m’inspire, que j’ai décidé de travailler.

Désobéissance Remixes is a small personal project, made for fun and aimed at trying out the art of album cover. And it is on the one of Mylène Farmer, an artist whose graphic universe inspires me, that I decided to work.
Comme le remixe est une modification profonde d’un morceau musical, j’ai retranscrit cet aspect par le biais du pixel sorting, sorte de glitch à l’esthétique particulière.
Puis, une fois l’image de couverture réalisée, il a fallu la mettre en situation. En pleine ère du numérique, il était impossible de ne songer qu’à une pochette physique. Aussi ai-je décidé d’imaginer l’ensemble intégré à une page Spotify, application comptant aujourd’hui des millions d’utilisateurs.
Then, once the cover image was created, it had to be put into context. In the digital age, it was impossible to think only of a physical cover. So I decided to imagine the whole thing integrated into a Spotify page, an application that now has millions of users.
